Operational Readiness

Our Strategic Objectives in Operational Readiness are to:

  1. Achieve high Training REDCON for al ICTs
  2. Achieve excellent Mobilisation results
  3. Achieve high level of individual soldiering skills for all men
  4. Achieve logistics readiness state

Our key processes are designed to deliver high quality and effective operational and peacetime maintenance and engineering services. Our mission is supported by 4 key processes with the Strategic Quality Planning (SQP) as a policing process.


Our Operational Readiness Process consists of the following components:

  1. Field Training and In-Camp training enable our soldiers to learn basic soldiering skills.
  2. Mobilisation Exercise (MOBEX) requires all personnel to report back to camp for their call of duty within a stipulated time during any unforeseen circumstances.
  3. IPPT and ATP prepare our soldiers to be physically fit and proficient in using their weapon for operation respectively.
