Chen Su Lan Methodist Home

For the past six years, the Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home has been under the "charitable wings" of GSMB. This self-giving work-team includes personnel from GSMB's seven Companies.

The children's home was first established in 1968 by the Wesley Methodist Church. Located in Changi, it was opened to the poor and needy children. The home was then re-sited to its present premises in Serangoon Gardens in 1984 on land leased by the Government.

Through the years, personnel from each company take time off their busy schedules and make their way down to the home every Saturday. These noble GSMBians give tuition to the kids as well as providing fatigue or just keeping them company. Events/ functions for the children's home have also been organized on a regular basis by the committee as Forecasted. These activities are usually held during the school vacations and the venues of some of these activities included Road Safety Park, Bukit Timah Reserve as well as Sentosa, to Bishan Park and NTUC Theme Park, etc.
